Bottle wamer + breastmilk storage bottles that I’m pretty sure don’t use drop ins

A pack and play
Bouncer

Sounds like you’ve got everything!
Maybe add a few toys to that list and a baby gate.
Congratulations!
I totally recommend getting a diaper genie! It really keeps the odor at bay!
I don’t know who in the world created a ‘baby registry’ but if I were to receive a card stating where to shop and what to buy…..you’d never hear from me again. People buy what ‘they’ feel a mother needs for her baby…not what the mother wants…besides, the ‘breast soother gel packs’ is a personal decision. I nursed 3 children and never had a use for them.
Your breast feeding.. I strongly recommend a BOPPY. Its a pillow that helps you feed, it is a big help, not a necessity because regular pillows work too BUT, I enjoy my boppy and now because I have used it so much my son sleeps on it in his crib… Just a suggestion
Baby Aspirin, Diaper Genie, lots of baby hats, tons of blankets, heat sterilizer (for bottles and pacifiers it works wonders!) High chair, portable changing pad (some restaurants don’t have them in the bathroom).
Good luck!
Your registry sounds pretty complete to me. Here are a few more items that you might want to add:
- Convertible Car Seat (The baby will outgrow the infant carrier at around 20-25 pounds, anywhere from 9-12 months)
- Miracle Blanket (These are much better than sleep sacks in my opinion)
- Extra Crib Sheets
- Pack N Play Sheets
- Baby Bath Tub
- Potty Seat
- Hats
Good luck! As for the person that felt the need to express their opinion (the one that was not, may I add, asked for), I disagree. There is nothing wrong with creating a baby registry. It shows everyone what you need and don’t need. Good luck!
Eating and snacking dishes for when the baby starts eating solids. Like sippy cups, plastic dishes, spoons, etc. Try getting all the essentials that baby will need for the first year. Oh and a diaper bag, I didn’t see that on your list. Receiving blankets, mittens, nail clippers, nasal aspirator and a high chair. Congrats on your new little one!
crib bedding set and matching curtains and wall hangings, baby book, books on care of babies, baby photo albums, Bumbo seat and tray, Jumperoo, shopping cart cover, cute outfits for baby, recieving blankets, baby lotion and body wash, diaper rash ointment, baby monitor, baby gate, high chair, sling or baby carrier, teething tablets, diaper bag
Swaddle wraps, high chair, organizer for changing table to put diapers, wipes, lotion on that you will need right then and there. You should put some books on the list. Dr. Suess, etc. You should start reading to your baby asap
congratulations!!!!!
dreft laundry detergent for babies!
teething tablets or gel
books
diaper bag!! (most important)
for my baby shower someone gave me 2 first aid bags, totally loved them! I keep one in the diaper bag, and one at home, they come with baby finger nail clippers (important) hair brush, baby nail filers, medicine drop, thermometer ,tooth brush, or you can put what ever you want in it, i carry around teething tablets, Tylenol, and nipple cream in mine.
If you haven’t already, register for a few preemie sleepers. Even though my baby was 7.5 pounds and 21 inches, she still wore preemie size for the first week or two.
Boppy for feedings and when your baby is a bit older he/she will like to sit in it. Good for tummy time too.
Bug net and rain shield for the stroller
Here’s a random one: absolutely priceless if you travel by plane a lot – Go Go Kidz wheelie. It allows you to wheel your baby around the airport in his carseat since you can only have the car seat OR stroller on board. This way you can check the stroller but still have a full size car seat for the plane and when you arrive at your destination.
Receiving blankets or a swaddling blanket
Hangers! Lots of hangers!
Laundry basket
Extra baskets for diaper supplies that you can leave in different areas of the house
Lined terrycloth pads for the pack and play & crib. Great for a baby that spits up a lot or has exploding poopie diapers. Saves your sheets from destruction.
Weird one, maybe not for your registry but in general: a thermometer for baby’s room. Your hormones are going to be out of whack (and if you’re like me and just can’t tell no matter what) and you’ll have no idea if it’s freezing or sweltering. It’s nice to know that the room is a comfortable temperature even if you’re not comfortable.
Mobile for crib – not just decoration, they actually talk to the little animals like old army buddies
Nightlight
BOOKS, BOOKS and MORE BOOKS
A boo-boo bunny (ok, not at all needed, I just love the boo boo bunny)
Bundle Me (lite or regular depending on the season)
Shopping cart cover
Diaper bag w/ changing pad included
Moby wrap/carrier/sling
Thermometer for bath water
EDIT: to the comment below… we also try not to run our loved ones around in circles trying to figure out what we need, what we might like and what no one else has already purchased. When you have over 100 family members, the registry is a convenience for them as much as it is for you. Welcome to reality.
A book on etiquette.
Registries are tacky.
Bulb syringe
thermometers – rectal arm forehead
towels
swing – if u want to
baby music CDs
Bottles
sterilizer
cleaning supplies
mobile
sanitizers, wipes
bath supplies
air purifier
humidifier
vaporizer (depending on where u live)
socks shoes booties
nail clippers other first aid items
Love this item. The Highchair Organizer made feeding time alot easier. It attaches to the back of the highchair and has plenty of room for storing everything you need for mealtime.
I agree with some of the other posters: Baby Hats
Lots of cloth for when you are burping baby. Baby will go through a phase where he/she spits up constantly (not all babies) and you want a cloth between you and that milk.
