Babies love music, they respond to it from within the womb before they are born.  The addition of  musical toys to baby’s collection will surely mean far more intersting play for all involved.  The toys can be introduced from birth, in the form of mobiles for the crib, gently soothing baby to sleep with nursery lullabies. Later on your child may play on baby play mats, which are very popular and musical toys can be attached for more fun and stimulation.

You can also add musical board books, baby musical instruments, such as cube toys with different sounds and tunes on each side.  Roly poly musical balls are a great favorite and as baby gets older and more mobile you can roll the ball back and forth to him or her and it will play a variety of tunes as you do so.

There is almost a musical version of every toy you can find, but dont go overboard or your ears will be ringing with a multitude of jingles and jangles guaranteed to drive parents crazy after a while.  A few, maybe three or four different types are enough and your baby will soon find his or her favorite baby musical toys that he wants you to play with him again and again!!
