Baby has been crying all day reasons?
My son has been a mess today. Constantly crying. He is never like this. He is 3 months old. We have tried everything. His boncer, play mat, swing, holding him, laying him down, walking around with him and nothing has worked. Does anyone have any ideas or maybe a reason why?

Poor little Alex! At 3 months it could be a range of things darlin’. Anything from teething (stubborn little things, the milk teeth) to even wind. (check if he has a slight blue "ring" around his lips – this is a tell tale sign of wind). Sometimes babies just want to be difficult LOL. I know how distressing this is for you and Alex. If you weren’t on the other side of the world I would have come over
Good luck xoxox
Check his temp, feed him, try cooled boiled water (in case he is thirsty), apply teething gel for babies (like bonjela) to the gums, that can help if his gums hurt. Try a pacifier – sometimes they help.
I hope he gets better real soon (hopefully by now already – perhaps my advice is in vain)
Colic. It can just start out of nowhere. Hopefully for your sake that isn’t it. He could have a fever or not be feeling well. Check his temperature and go from there.
Growth spurt causing him to be more hungry?
Typical fussiness that peaks between 2-4 months old then starts to go down again?
Tired, but you missed his sleepy cues, then overstimulated him even more by using his bouncer, play mat, and swing?
Just a bad day that will be better tomorrow?
teething? This always worked for my fussy baby,,,turn on the vacuum sometimes the noise will sooth them to sleep. Good Luck
Ear infection, teething, upset belly, the list goes on and on.
Try giving him a warm bath and then nurse or offer a warm bottle. I always found both of these things helped my son calm down when he was overly fussy. Or go out for a drive, that may help him out.
If he has a temperature and/or this continues you may want to consult his pediatrician and see what they think, especially if this is new for him.
there can be lots of reasons, is he teething? does he have wind? maybe he is just having an off day. i know its frustrating but u have to push through it. does he have a temp? maybe try giving him some baby panadol or ask the chemist what u can do?
take the temp? He may have a fever? Check n see if cutting a tooth/
May have the flu???
gas or maybe is he getting sick, my daughter just got over a virus 7 she was like that.
try a little Jack Daniels in his bottle works every time
Check for a fever. See if he is cold. Is he hungry? Maybe he feels your stress. Relax. He may even have a ear ache. Poor baby. :’( Check these things and give us an update. I’ll check back in. If he has a fever or ear ache take him to the hospital. It may also be gas.
Sometimes babies go through periods where they just cry. It is nothing you did wrong. They just go through this time where it can start from 2 weeks to several months. It is called the period of PURPLE crying. If you have fed him, changed him, bounced him, made sure he doesn’t have a fever or is sick, then this is just a developmental time and he will grow out of it. Check out this website. It explains what the letter in PURPLE stand for.

Hungry, diaper, colic. If you have addressed all these and he’s still crying, take him to a doctor. Don’t just let him keep crying.
Maybe you beat the shit out of him too much! You better stop with that! I am DREW! I say be nice to the little guy… Please… Please!
Try facing him toward a blank wall, give him 5 minutes and see if that doesn’t calm him down. He may need you to stop stimulating him. Everything you’ve tried so far is stimulation try taking it all away and see what happens.
Try giving him an ounce of chamomile tea, it works well for my little one when she’s going on and on.
Ha ha, glad I don’t have kids!
Play him music. Music soothes the savage babbeast.
Is it worse when he lays down? It sounds to me like an ear infection. Sometimes sucking on the bottle or pacifier relieves the pain but then it it back once they stop especially when laying down it puts more pressure on the ear. My girls both had a lot of ear infections and no we do not smoke, nor does anyone else in our home. I would take him in and get it checked.
Another thought has he pooped normally? He could be constipated.
take him out for a drive.. a change in the environment, fresh air, soothing humming of the engine, the rocking of the car can do the trick (i took many of those trips myself at 3am.. yeah, good times)
… at the same time, you are the parent, so by nature you have to be creative and think outside the box – maybe the baby is sleepy (put the baby in the car seat and put the car seat on the floor and rock him), maybe the baby had colics (flip the baby on his tummy, put your lap and rock baby back and forth to relieve the gas – then go out and get dr brown’s bottles to vent the air of the bottles), the baby could be teething (go out and get orajel, put some on baby’s gums), check the temperature – if it’s too high, give him motrin (not tylenol – tylenol is useless – so if you are giving your baby some medicine, give the one that works), maybe he’s too hot – give him a lukewarm bath (lukewarm to us is cool for babies, so this will help).. let me know if you need any other suggestions
My baby was like that when he was gassy. Are you nursing? What have you eaten? Anything new, or greasy? Try Mylicon drops.
He could also be tired, or teething, or going through a growth spurt.
He may have colic, or if he is going through a growth spurt he may be hungry. He could also be gassy. I would call your doc, since you say this is not normal behavior. They can take a look and hopefully put your mind at ease. Trust your instincts. If you think there is sonething wrong, call the pediatrician
